A Treehouse in the Canopy

A treehouse up among the branches, on a mound covered in trunks and roots, made to the safety standards? Easy, right?

The community of Cawdor Public School were determined to have true treehouse among the leaves, and despite the many challenges they were not going to take the easy way out!

Timber Creations took on the challenge, and after many onsite meetings, lots of planning and conversations with Kidsafe, the Cawdor students got their dream cubby!

The treehouse is the stunning feature element of this fantastic natural playground that interacts with the existing features of the school grounds and creates a huge playscape that all the students in the school can use at once!

Features:

  • Treehouse Tower with both rope and branch climb access

  • Nature play balance trail on slope

  • Climbing totems and stilts

  • Log and sandstone retaining wall

  • Certified softfall mulch
